Cloud Cruiser includes several collectors to retrieve data from Microsoft Azure, as listed in the Table of Contents on this page.
Cloud Cruiser's Microsoft Azure EA Billing collector retrieves the following fields from Microsoft Azure as dimensions:
AccountOwnerId
AccountName
ServiceAdministratorId
SubscriptionId
SubscriptionGuid
SubscriptionName
Product
ResourceGUID
Service
ServiceType
ServiceRegion
ServiceResource
ServiceSubregion
ServiceInfo

Cloud Cruiser's Microsoft Azure EA Billing collector retrieves the following fields from Microsoft Azure, as well as Cost
and Rate
measures for each field. Note that for any specific Microsoft Azure service, only one of these measures is collected.
azure.public.ea.Data Transfer Out (GB)
azure.public.ea.Compute Hours
azure.public.ea.Data Transfer In (GB)
azure.public.ea.Standard IO - Page Blob/Disk (GB)
azure.public.ea.Storage Transactions (in 10,000s)
azure.public.ea.Developer API Management Units
azure.public.ea.Database (db/month)
azure.public.ea.Free Web Sites
Cloud Cruiser's Microsoft Azure Metrics collector retrieves the following dimensions from Microsoft Azure:
resource.id
resource.group
resource.name
resource.subscription
resource.type
resource.uri
Cloud Cruiser's Microsoft Azure Metrics collector retrieves the following measures from Microsoft Azure. For each primary data type (CPU utilization, incoming network bytes, and outgoing network bytes), the Total
measure is the sum of the data collected, while Count
measure is the number of data points collected.
The numbers collected for the CPUUtil
measures are percentages. For example, a CPUUtil.Maxium
value of 5 indicates that the maximum utilization on that VM was 5%. CPUUtil.Average
provides the most critical utilization value.
Because the Total
measures are a sum of the values collected, the CPUUtil.Total
measure can show large numbers that do not represent actual utilization. For example, if a VM has utilization data points of 5
, 4
, and 2
, the CPUUtil.Total
measure would show a value of 11
, which does not represent the actual CPU utilization of that VM.
