Measure collected from AWS

Cloud Cruiser collects the UsageQuantity column from AWS as the value for the UsageQuantity measure. Cloud Cruiser derives a service's Cost, Rate, and Units from related passthrough data:

  • Cloud Cruiser derives a value for Cost from the UnblendedCost and BlendedCost AWS columns, depending on the value set in your Collections.
  • Cloud Cruiser derives a value for Rate from the UnblendedRate and BlendedRate AWS columns, depending on the value set in your Collections.
  • Cloud Cruiser derives a value for Units based on a regular-expression match with collected service names. For example, a service name that includes "StorageUsage" has a Units value of GB-Months, while a service name starting with "AWS-Support-." has a Units value of Dollars.
