Uninstalling Cloud Cruiser

On Windows

To uninstall Cloud Cruiser
  1. Open a command prompt as an administrator.
  2. Go to the bin directory.
    cd <install_dir>\bin
  3. Stop the application server.
    ccservice stop
  4. Remove the application server.
    ccservice remove
  5. Go to the Uninstaller directory.
    cd <install_dir>\Uninstaller
  6. Open the uninstaller.
    java -jar uninstaller.jar
  7. In the pop-up window, click Uninstall.

After uninstalling on Windows, some Tomcat files might remain in the <installationDirectory>\Cloud Cruiser\apache-tomcat-7.0.54\bin directory. Additionally, some HPE Consumption Analytics Portal directories remain after installation. Use the following procedure if you want to remove these files and directories.

To clean up files and directories after uninstalling Cloud Cruiser

  1. Remove unnecessary Tomcat files and directories:
    1. In Windows, open the Task Manager.
    2. In the list of processes, select Commons Daemon Service Runner, and then click End Task.
    3. In Windows Explorer, delete the <installationDirectory>\Cloud Cruiser directory.
  2. Remove unnecessary HPE Consumption Analytics Portal directories:
    1. In Windows, open the Control Panel and view the list of installed Programs and Features.
    2. Select Cloud Cruiser Analytics Desktop, click Uninstall, and complete the uninstallation process.
    3. In Windows Explorer, delete the following directories:
      • <installationDirectory>\Cloud Cruiser Analytics
      • Users\<userName>\Documents\My Tableau Repository
      • ProgramData\Cloud Cruiser Analytics
      • ProgramData\Tableau
    4. In the Windows Registry Editor, delete the following keys:
      • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tableau

On Linux

To uninstall Cloud Cruiser
  1. Stop the application server.
    For more information, see Stopping and starting the application server.
  2. Disable the service:
    # chkconfig --del <installationDirectory>

You can delete the installation directory if needed.
