The Cloud Cruiser Portal is the user interface of Cloud Cruiser. To open it, do the following:

  1. In the URL field of your browser, enter http://<hostname>:<port> where <hostname> is the hostname or IP address of the Cloud Cruiser computer and <port> is the Tomcat port you specified in the installer.
    For example: http://localhost:8080
    The login prompt is displayed.

  2. Enter your username in the User Name field and your password in the Password field, then click Sign in.

When logging in immediately after installation, use admin as the User Name and use the password you created in the Admin User Password field in the User Data screen of the installer. The only user account that exists after installation is admin.

Internet Explorer displays webpages in the Intranet zone in compatibility view. If you are using Internet Explorer and have difficulty logging in to Cloud Cruiser, consider changing the Compatibility View setting in your browser to force Internet Explorer to rely on visited webpages themselves to determine the compatibility settings for your intranet webpages.

  1. In Internet Explorer, select Tools > Compatibility View settings.
  2. Ensure that the Display intranet sites in Compatibility View checkbox is unchecked.
  3. Click Close.
