Installation process overview

To install Cloud Cruiser

  1. Install and configure a supported database server and give Cloud Cruiser access.
    See Configuring your database server.
  2. Install a supported version of Java on the Cloud Cruiser computer and set its installation path as an environment variable.
    See Configuring Java.
  3. If you will collect data from Microsoft Windows Azure Pack, set a password for its Usage REST API user.
    See Setting the Windows Azure Pack API password.
  4. Run the Cloud Cruiser installer.
    See Installing the Cloud Cruiser application.
  5. If you are using a Microsoft SQL Server database server set to Windows authentication, configure the Cloud Cruiser application server to use this method.

  6. Install and configure HPE Consumption Analytics Portal.
    See Installing and configuring HPE Consumption Analytics Portal.
  7. If you will collect data from Cisco Process Orchestrator, configure the Cisco Process Orchestrator server to work with Cloud Cruiser.
