Importing customers

Table of contents
No headers

You can import customers directly into Cloud Cruiser by creating a comma-delimited file (CSV) that contains the customers to be imported. For a description of the CSV format, see Customer CSV file format.

To import a customer CSV file, use the ccimport utility from the command line. For example:

ccimport -t customer -f cloud_customer.csv

where customers is the import type and cloud_customers.csv is the filename. You can also run ccimport from ccjob using the < install_dir >\ job_samples\import.xml file. For help on this command, go to the property values directory in a command tool and type ccimport -h .

NOTE: ccimport does not support importing budget information. Budgets must be either entered in Cloud Cruiser or imported using a SQL script.
