Data source configuration

You must tell Cloud Cruiser where to collect data from both Cisco Process Orchestrator and Cisco IAC and provide credentials for the latter.

Configuring the resource location for Cisco Process Orchestrator

Unlike most collectors, the XML Collector does not use a data source. Instead, you use the resource property of the com.cloudcruiser.batch.collect.SmartXmlCollector bean in your iac_orch_load job to specify a path from which to read XML files.

You must set this path to match the Cloud Cruiser Usage Directory global variable that you set in Cisco Process Orchestrator when you installed the Cloud Cruiser extension pack. The default values in both places point to <working_dir>/usage_files/iac_orch . If you kept this default in Cisco Process Orchestrator, you don’t need to make any changes to the job XML.

If you changed the global variable, change the path in the following line of the job to match:

<property name="resource" value="files:${env.usageDir}/${env.processName}/${env.selectDate}*.xml" />

You can replace the context variables that specify the usage data directory and the current process name, but you must maintain the string files: at the beginning of the value and ${env.selectDate}*.xml at the end. For example:

<property name="resource" value="files:\\fileserver23\eventdata\${env.selectDate}*.xml" />

For more information about context variables, see Context variables.

Configuring the Cisco IAC Portal data source

The configuration for this case is the same as it is if you use Cisco IAC by itself. For information, see Data source configuration.
