Managing services

A service can be almost anything in your computing environment that you want to charge for, including but not limited to storage consumption, storage I/O, and CPU consumption.

You can define services and their rates either by creating them in with the HPE Consumption Analytics Portal Portal or by importing them. Importing services saves time if you have a large number of them to maintain.

You manage services in the Financial > Services page of the HPE Consumption Analytics Portal Portal.

Services installed with HPE Consumption Analytics Portal

As part of the CloudSmart-Now packages offering, HPE Consumption Analytics Portal includes services for private cloud data sources to handle common chargeback use cases. Usage is automatically matched to one of these services.
